LASER

Unlike other methods, LASER stripping does not use abrasive products, such as sand or water, nor chemicals such as acid or other stripping agents. Here only electricity is needed.

Our technology makes it possible to sublimate the surface pollutant (elimination in the form of smoke). Therefore, there is no need to protect the premises or collect waste. A simple capture of fumes via suction ensures the cleanliness of the premises.

Whether it is stone, wood, glass or metal, we can work on all types of supports. Being extremely fine, the LASER process has an action of the order of microns. We are thus able to eliminate the desired pollutant without altering the basic support, allowing us to operate both on precious old objects and in an industrial environment.

The rapid implementation and the absence of additional operations make LASER stripping an ecological, rapid service offering great freedom in the field of possibilities. Whatever the project, whatever the location, you can present it to us.


Cryogenics

Cryogenic cleaning is done using dry ice at a temperature of -80°C. It is then crushed and sprayed by compressed air onto the surface to be cleaned. Three physical effects then occur: mechanical shock (by ice particles), thermal shock and sublimation (change from solid to gaseous state in a fraction of a second). The pollutant is then detached from the support to end up on the ground where it can simply be picked up.

Dry ice does not contain water and thus allows Ull & Baldr to work on sensitive installations, such as ATEX zones, electrical boxes or any oxidizable element.
The temperature of -80°C acts as a disinfectant and thus prevents any bacterial proliferation. This element is particularly interesting for projects in the medical or food industry.

The ice used comes from industrial waste. Instead of being thrown into the atmosphere, the gas is recycled to be revalorized and used again. As a result, for the same quantity of CO2 issued, usage was doubled. Using cryogenics can therefore be part of an ecological approach by eliminating the use of chemicals, the use of water and participating in the reduction of CO emissions.2.
